Account manager responsibilities include developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers are also the liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. Must be very comfortable with the Management and development of client accounts to initiate and maintain favorable relationships with clients. Also responsible for leading a team of Account Managers dedicated to meeting the operational needs of assigned client segments.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in area of specialty and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar employer self-funded health insurance and stop loss insurance concepts, practices and procedures. Rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks that involve technological aptitude. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to head of a unit/department.

Proven account management or other relevant experience
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years of marketing experience with agency orTPA background desirable
Deep digital understanding
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new software products quickly and own the learning process
