Job Summary:
Ringmaster Technologies is seeking a high-impact, entrepreneurial Vice President of Sales to drive our growth and deepen relationships across the self-funded health benefits ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who challenges legacy processes, embraces innovation, and is motivated to help others save time and increase profitability. You will own the entire sales process—from lead generation and qualification to deal close and client onboarding—while shaping how the industry engages with medical stop-loss.
As a leader, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic partnerships with TPAs, brokers, and carriers. You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, client experience, and leadership teams to deliver value and shape Ringmaster’s go-to-market strategy. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business with TPAs, brokers, and other benefits stakeholders.
- Deliver compelling presentations of Ringmaster’s value proposition and solutions.
- Build and expand the Center of Excellence and Business Process Optimization for Stop-Loss within our client ecosystem.
- Sell Ringmaster’s ability to streamline the stop-loss marketing process, including data acquisition, RFP creation, proposal analysis, and vendor communications.
- Strategic Partnership Management
- Cultivate strong relationships with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to support timely renewals and seamless operations.
- Secure executive buy-in both internally and externally to support complex deals.
- Surface client needs and market gaps, working cross-functionally to address them.
- Provide insights on RFP and renewal performance and market trends (e.g., DTQs, renewal positions).
- Operational Excellence & Industry Leadership
- Partner with the client experience team to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction.
- Provide best practice recommendations on outputs such as financials and disruption/discount analysis.
- Contribute industry intelligence on emerging trends, competitive shifts, and regulatory updates.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to shape solution roadmaps based on market needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales experience in employee benefits, stop-loss, TPAs, or insurance point solutions.
- Deep understanding of self-funding and medical stop-loss underwriting.
- Proven track record in sales, revenue generation, and client development.
- Experience analyzing financial data related to group health insurance and stop-loss.
